Twenty-seven years ago, we stumbled upon an old farmhouse in the country. It was rough around the edges, but we saw something special—potential that few others recognized. From the beginning, we dreamed of transforming our big red barn into a teaching space, an antique shop, or even an event venue.

Over the years, we’ve had the chance to bring some of those dreams to life. Now, we’re excited to focus more on teaching and creating a small on-site farmers market.

Tom is the practical builder and math mastermind, while Brenda brings the finishing touches that make all his projects shine. Together, we've built an adventurous life on our hobby farm, embracing nature and everything the land provides. In the past 30 years, we’ve nurtured kids, dogs, chickens, turkeys, vegetables, fruit, and flowers. We’ve also honed skills in woodworking, building, and restoring items that just need a little love.

People often ask us, “How do you do that?” Now, we want to share our experiences—the successes, the failures, and everything in between.

Our deep love for our little hobby farm has brought us immense joy and valuable life lessons, and we can’t wait to pass them along to you.
